This ring brooch was made in memory of Olav Tryggvason and the 1000th anniversary of Trondhiem. Many similar jewels were found at sacrificial sites in the Sami area. They were widely used throughout the north-eastern viking world. With the escape of Olav as a child in mind, who most likely fled across the Sami areas to Estonia and Russia, where he grew up, it was natural for us to invent a classic ring brooch. 925 Sterling silver.
