Characterizes the designs of our time.
In the early 60’s the world looked towards the north. Scandinavian designers, with their thoughts of simplicity and elegance in a powerful shape, set the tone. Frank Juhls created this piece in 1962/63. By this he forged the direction that we are all yet characterized by.
In 1959 Frank and Regine Juhls started the first workshop for silver jewelry
in the northernmost part of Norway-Finnmark. From a rustic little cabin they
developed it to an extensive gallery in a personal and unique style. For sixty years, building and creating beauty has been their way of life - a vivid inspiration for generations to come. Now as before the jewelry is made in the legendary workshop in Kautokeino. To mark the 60 year jubilee the workshop has recreated 12 designs from various decades. They may present a retrospective insight into Regine and Frank Juhls art of jewellery.
